wednesday madness

well its turned into Friday laziness as we have had a very busy couple of days. with the nice weather I decided to get into the garden and start sorting it out after the bad winter, going to take some doing but hopefully in a a few more days it will be more garden and less mud hole!! 

I bought my tumbling tom tomatoes for the hanging baskets so out of the way the dogs and easy to pick, Now all I need is my strawberries and I will be a happy girl!! 

Had to show you my gorgoeus Tulips again they make me smile every time I walk out my door and see them! 

MY new needles have arrived so I have everything I need to cast on Feb Lady cardi, just need to take the leap its very scarey!!Bye for now Clare xx

Sunny Tuesday afternoons

been a glorious day today sun shining today has been a good day, finally picked wool for my cardi got to love Boyes £1.35 for 100g!! pictures doesn't do it justice its a lovely green/blue just what I wanted!

so now just waiting for my Delivery of the needles i need and this weekend I will cast on and start my first major project, I'm scared and excited all at once!!!

been a while since I have posted on here, been busy with one thing or other, I am not planning on starting my first big project! I have wanted to do something more than gloves, hats and blankets so I took the plunge and have decided to knit Feburary Lady Cardi what can be found on Rav, its designed for larger woman so is perfect, cant wait to cast it on!

T DAAHHH  my first every piece of crochet it is a square but will be blocking, I am very proud of it and hope it will soon have lots of friends so it can be made into a nice warm blanket

you know when you have finally got all comfy in bed and its nice just to lay there comfy and relaxed that was me at 6am, then woodie (black labrador) started to bark woodie NEVER barks unless something is wrong, I was out of bed, dressed (kind off one sock on and jumper on inside out) and into the garden in about 10secs flat, richards Call ducks had decided that they wanted to run around in the garden and not in there pen and were walking in front of woodies kennel blooming things.

its now 09:13 and I am trully utterly tired out, but on a good note I have got lots of knitting done
